One more regular occurrence were the thoughts of reuniting his team in the Age of the Fall forever crossing his mind. Now that the pieces were starting to fall into place and the metaphorical band was getting back together, Jimmy felt refreshed with a renewed sense of determination. His stubborn and persistent ways would often get him into trouble but right now, it felt as though this was all worth it. The low, fall sun beat down on the scene. Jimmy Jacobs currently occupied a seat at a rounded metal table that sat on the sidewalk outside a local cafe, where he gazed down at the now mostly empty cup of coffee that he had been nursing for the past hour. Soon, the unmistakeable tall and imposing figure of Tyler Black, dressed simply in casual clothing, wandered towards Jimmy; prompting a smile to appear on his face. This is what he had been waiting for; the reunion was finally set to begin. Moments later, the all too familiar face of Lacey joined the two to further set things in motion. The silence spoke volumes but no verbal cues were necessary at this point; the group had an unspoken understanding and bond. Upon the agreement to join forces once more, it felt natural for them to combine their talents on the road to success again. Finally, the tapping of high heels were heard against the concrete of the sidewalk. Those heels, of course, belonged to Mandy Leon, the newest member of the team. She appeared to be alone at first as she wandered around the corner but soon, the masked Delirious ran past her and towards the awaiting group hastily. DELIRIOUS Hanfeoengange aifafoineaf aedignaett! The unmistakeable gibberish of Delirious cut through the silence, causing smiles to appear on their faces. Following their time apart, it felt right that they had all reunited. It felt comfortable, even though it perhaps shouldn't, given their history but this was just the start of a new chapter and they all felt ready for it. The opportunity of a lifetime awaited them; this was a chance to not only redeem themselves but prove their worth to a business that had looked down on them before. This was the first step of a new journey for vindication and this... THIS was the moment that was officially the start of it all. ------ The Age of the Fall were never about big budget affairs, being a much more down-to-earth and informal group. With the scene emanating from a currently unknown location, it appeared dark; a grainy, almost grungy overlay adding to the overall effect. The quintet were still visible through it. Naturally, Jimmy Jacobs took the lead as he stood front and center. To his left, was Tyler Black, towering above him. Lacey, her arms crossed over her chest, stood beside Tyler. To Jimmy's right, there was Mandy Leon, who placed a hand on the shoulder of Delirious, who was knelt to half her height. At first, there was nothing more than silence to consume the scene but the voice of Jimmy Jacobs soon cut through that. JIMMY JACOBS Change is inevitable. It's important that we all move with the times. There's no need to live in the past; even if the nostalgia fills us with that comforting feeling that we all embrace. We're not here to live in the past; we're here to become a greater team this time around. We will no longer allow the explosive, combative and often impulsive nature to tear us apart the way we once did. As I eluded to before; change is here. Change is real. Change is tangible. Change is part of life. However, just a brief glimpse into the past may be the best way to introduce us to the uninitiated. We took the world by storm, using our brand of violence to stand out from the competition. We are a unique force. Unorthodox, sure, but well established and collaborative. There's just this... synergy. Pausing briefly, Tyler tilted his head to one side. TYLER BLACK Those are, perhaps words that have been used to describe the opposition in the past, aren't they? The world sees this match booked to open Barely Legal and consider us to be the new blood in comparison to the icons, the legends, the superstars, the heroes that are The Dudleys. Oh, we've got all of the experience in the world, though. There's no reason to be doubting us. We're not the obvious choice, we're aware. But that's why we're here... to take over and show that in actual fact, we're the major players here. Our mission is to become the next big name in tag team wrestling. In fact, wrestling in general. There are many routes in which we can go on our inevitable ascent to the top. JIMMY JACOBS We are the misunderstood. We are the misfits. We are the revolution. And I am here to lead the Age of the Fall in the new era. It's not 2008 anymore. Obviously, we're not at our peak anymore. I'll be the first to admit that but at the same time, I feel as though now that my demons are behind me, I'm now at my physical best. I'd argue that we all are. Thankfully, we've all aged like a fine wine and we're yet to reach our peak. He stated with a smirk gracing his lips. At that point, Delirious seemed to lunge forward, getting his face in the camera. She cut her off sharply, wanting her words to be hear instead. LACEY These are not just empty threats or claims. This is reality. This is what we stand for. The Dudleys, by comparison, stand for history. They stand for sentimentality. They stand for being good at what you do, once upon a time. That time, however, has long gone. We won't fall into the trap of simply believing that makes them incapable. We won't dare. Jimmy and Tyler do understand that you were once a major and very realistic threat to all around you but do you truly feel as though you still are? That is what we're here to ask. We've worked side-by-side for many years and even when he went to seek his success elsewhere, we still remained in close contact. Just because we haven't been an active duo, that's no reason to underestimate us. So let me ask... what advantage do you have? I sincerely hope that you can fathom what you're going up against. We know that you're one of the best, if you're to look at tag teams through history. Regardless, we should be right up there with you and with a victory, we will be. I mean, it imploded and combusted to the point where it was no longer recognisable as the baby I created. So why did I go ahead and reunite the team that was once more problematic than good?
