The Age of the Fall had once again allowed their violent actions to speak for themselves. Their sadistic and merciless manner had driven them to the brink of a victory, yet also taken it away from them, albeit at their own hands. However, the control that the group continued to believe they held was undeniable; at least in their eyes. Together, they had sent a message. A strong, powerful and effective message that set out their abundantly clear intentions. From day one, destruction, domination and annihilation was on the forefront of their minds and thus far, they had lived up to every single promise they had set themselves... both victories and showcasing their unique combative style. The location from which three of the Age of the Fall members currently occupied was once again nothing particularly remarkable. It was simply a bland expanse of grey walls and a dark yet dirty carpet with years of stains walked into it. Various pieces of furniture were scattered across the room; somewhat unsteady folding steel chairs, a long and unadorned table and a relatively small gym mat that lay crumpled in one corner. In amongst the sparse decor, Jimmy Jacobs, dressed in a beaten up pair of grey ripped jeans and a white tank-top, was sat on one of the aforementioned steel chairs. He took a casual stance, leaning back and crossing one leg over onto the other. To his right was Tyler Black. The towering figure stood over Jimmy, but his back was to him as he appeared to still be training; undertaking some shadow-boxing. Lacey was dressed in a blue tracksuit, as if either having just trained or set to do so soon. She wandered across the room and threw herself down onto one chair nearby to Jimmy. Lacey, running a hand through her somewhat tangled dirty blonde hair, felt the need to speak up. As a dedicated member of the Age of the Fall, there had been a crushing thought that had been weighing her down as of late. In her mind, it was important to just get that thought out of her mind and unload it on her teammates. After all, honesty was key. LACEY You know that I don't enjoy questioning your decisions but I just need to ask this to get it off my chest. Why is Mandy even here? What is she even going to bring to the team? I feel as though it may reach a point in which it begins to feel we are carrying her... Lacey remarked, cutting through what appeared to be a more casual atmosphere prior and replacing it with tension. However, it appeared as though Jimmy had no immediate reason to write this conversation off as too negative to continue and chose to engage. JIMMY JACOBS It's simple. He stated before directing his gaze towards Lacey. Meanwhile, in the background, Tyler wrapped up his training and opted to sit beside Jimmy on a steel chair of his own. JIMMY JACOBS She and Delirious were a package deal. As for what she brings, well, she’s more of a mystery; an enigma. She’s untested in this environment. TYLER BLACK Well, to some extent. Did you see what she did at Anarchy? That was the level of raw sadistic energy that we embrace within this team. JIMMY JACOBS We believe that everybody deserves an opportunity. While we are no longer the revolving door of members we once were, we have still chosen to bring someone in who harbours the desires to embrace our ways. We cannot hold anything against her. Mandy's dedication to the cause is genuine. LACEY Dedication and commitment need to also translate into results. A light shrug of her shoulders punctuated that sentence though her tone of voice altered somewhat as she spoke up again. LACEY Though I understand that opportunities must first present themselves... Tyler, shifting his position in his seat, contemplated the conversation thus far. TYLER BLACK We're not dismissing anything and your feelings are valid; but this business is all about growth. Mandy's unique energy is perhaps something we require to hold us all together. As I said, she's an untested entity but thus far, a valuable one. It's imperative that we lift each other up, not tear each other down. Teamwork as an entire unit is absolutely crucial. JIMMY JACOBS This is not the Age of the Fall way, Lacey. You, of all people, should know that. Lacey crossed her arms over her chest, almost like a scolded child but she opted to allow her attitude to subside and eased the tension within her body; attempting to relax. LACEY I don't mean to dispute your methods. I am just yet to see who Mandy truly is and how on earth she fits in with who we are. JIMMY JACOBS All in good time, Lacey. She will have her opportunities, just as you will. Though as we see it, every single Anarchy event is a fresh opportunity; a new week to thrive against the competition. While the records will go on to show at present it's just myself and Tyler, yourself, Mandy and Delirious all play an equally as crucial role. LACEY If she can continue delivering and working on her in-ring skill and discipline, then perhaps there is nothing to be concerned about. Any slips up though, I'll be on her ass... JIMMY JACOBS Nobody is perfect and all are incapable of failure. We are all human; all prone to mistakes. Lacey released a heavy sigh, which was accompanied by a nod of her head. She took in their words, understanding their point of view and the importance of embracing the team as a whole. She lifted a hand, pushing a few stray strands of hair behind her ear. LACEY Perhaps I have been too harsh... She mused, aware that her impulsive and almost belligerent nature may have been perceived as overly severe. JIMMY JACOBS There's nothing wrong with having doubts; it's natural. But so is giving the benefit of the doubt and in this case, it's needed. Pausing there at a rather abrupt pace, Jimmy turned to Lacey with a sincere glance. As a leader, his natural charisma allowed others to tend to admire him and believe his words to be wise, at least to some extent. However, that also meant that pressure on Jimmy himself to maintain that respect that others tended to have for him. JIMMY JACOBS You know I've got your back, Lace. I always have; and now is no different. Together, we've always been this strong, unbeatable entity but we can only continue to be if every single part is in full working order. I've used the phrase 'well-oiled machine' and that precisely how it should be. Every cog working in harmony with the others... Lacey had always admired Jimmy's wise words; his wisdom is what kept her grounded a lot of the time. A simple nod of the head displayed her agreement with his words, or at least, her willingness to embrace his advice. LACEY I apologise for the hostility but this is just how I feel. It's difficult to explain but I suppose it could be the nostalgia talking. In my mind, she simply doesn't fit in... not at this point, at least. Whilst Lacey had eased up, there appeared to still be something that didn't sit well with Tyler, as his thoughtful expression deepened. TYLER BLACK Think about our journey, Lace. Jimmy took both of us in when we were nothing more than newcomers with dreams. Without that opportunity to learn and grow from one of the best... where would either of us be now, huh? We owe everything to the teachings of the Age of the Fall. This is what forged us from nothing to the greatness we feel now. We adapted to the harsh reality of this business and became proficient in this sport because we had that heart and dedication to do so. Now look at us. Lacey pondered over that rather considered monologue from Tyler. LACEY And it is incredibly valued. The time Jimmy took in assisting the two of us, among others, to grow is something I treasure more than practically anything in this world. She stated with sincerity but there was still something nagging at her. LACEY I suppose that's why I'm striving for perfection now. We're no longer in a position where we should be held down by anybody. Our previous longevity as a team should speak for itself and we should no longer require the weaker. It's a different time now and we've evolved. Before Lacey can finish her train of thought, a light knock is heard on the large wooden door, sat across the room from the trio. Before any further words could be uttered, the door creaked open, at least enough for a human-size figure to pass through the open gap. Emerging from the darkness and into the room was Mandy Leon herself; dressed in her typical black attire, albeit it more casual than usual. Behind her, Delirious pushed his way into the room after driving an elbow into the door to open it slightly wider. MANDY LEON Hey... sorry to interrupt but is now a good time to talk business? JIMMY JACOBS It's always a valid time, Mandy. DELIRIOUS Hfifneappanwikanwnaronae! Ninsafonsefionsf! A smile began to crawl it's way onto Jimmy's lips as he slowly nodded and motioned for the two to sit. He, by his own admission, always had a soft spot for Delirious. Whilst others may not have the patience, he certainly did. JIMMY JACOBS So... dare I ask what's on your mind? Whilst Delirious remained stood, his vertical base becoming somewhat hunched, Mandy positioned herself on the edge of the table, leaning her arms behind herself slightly to prop herself up. MANDY LEON First of all, apologies for missing our training session this morning. But I promise, we'll make the next one. Second... well, I know how important growth is for anybody in this sport, particularly someone who is still considered somewhat of a rookie. DELIRIOUS Hiahoafhaofnaofna aifnaofnaofn aofinaofnaofawjw feoinfapefn! Huafnawfnafaofewafbnni! JIMMY JACOBS No need to defend her, Delirious, we don't have a problem here. We just appreciate you wanting to take the time to continue learning. You're right, it's incredibly important. But there's no major rush. Admitedly, with the focus just on myself and Tyler at this point, there's time for you continue to grow and evolve into the magnificent talent we all know you can be. Mandy felt comforted by those words and offered him a sincere smile. MANDY LEON I just know I can be better... LACEY I wish you were... MANDY LEON Excuse me? She questioned, dropping her usual kind-hearted facade in order to take a more defensive stance. Lacey, however, pushed herself up to her feet and as the light tapping of her feet rang out throughout the relatively small room, she proceeded towards Mandy who, in turn, rose to her feet. LACEY You heard me. You're damn right you should be pulling your weight more. MANDY LEON How so? I've been just as active as you have in not only holding the team together but ensuring the world sees our dominance. I know this style is somewhat more new to me but - Mandy's voice trailed off into complete silence as Jimmy positioned himself between the two, raising a hand to halt them. JIMMY JACOBS How is this supposed to help? We can't present ourselves to the world as a fractured team. To show that weakness is unacceptable at this point, particularly when we know just how far we can go if we are able to co-exist. There's strength in comradery. So stop this... He stated bluntly, opting not to elaborate on that. However, Mandy, seemingly with an understanding of Lacey's doubt, raised her hands. MANDY LEON No... she has a point. And this is our authentic selves, Jimmy. You, of all people, should know how no family is perfect. No matter what the dynamic, there are always some issues festering away. It's best we address them now... She adjusts her posture and directs her gaze to meet Lacey's. MANDY LEON So bring it on. I'm not afraid to hear some harsh truths... Her strong resolve was admirable and even Lacey seemed to think so as her body language suggested she was backing off slightly. LACEY Just do better... that's all I can say to you. We don't have the time for any dead weight dragging us down. MANDY LEON If that's how you see me, fine. All I'm asking for is an opportunity. I feel like Anarchy was an incredible start for me and it's only onwards and upwards from here. I'm optimistic in my abilities; I need you to be as well. Lacey opted not to respond straight away, crossing her arms over her chest as she pondered her next words carefully. Her body language shifted somewhat as she backed off but remained dubious. LACEY Fine... but as Jimmy said, this is a unit where every single member of it needs to pull their weight. TYLER BLACK That includes everybody, by the way, it's not limited just to Mandy... Lacey, again acting like a petulant child, mocked him as he spoke but Jimmy shot her a deathstare, which seemed to stop her there. JIMMY JACOBS Now if we can just all act like adults, things will all go a lot more smoothly moving forward... With tension still palpable in the air, the group dispersed. It appeared as though enough had been said at this point that they could simply go their own way. They would reconvene when necessary but perhaps, for now, it was wise to go away and consider exactly what this meant for the team going forward... ------ At this point of the day, the sun was beginning to set. As it did so, it cast shadows across the dilapidated structure of an abandoned warehouse, which stood prominently in the background. There was an eerie stillness that seemed to envelope the air surrounding the building, which loomed on the outskirts of whichever city it was that the Age of the Fall were occupying today. The weathered exterior was cloaked in shadows produced by a combination of the setting sun and streetlights, which were starting to flicker on to do their job in illuminating the night. The once somewhat more exquisite façade was now an image of peeling paint, crumbling bricks and rusted metal framework. Scattered around what was now the former parking lot, there was an array of various items. In the minds of the Age of the Fall and perhaps others that lived the nature of ECW may perceive them all as potential weaponry. Splintered wood, jagged shards of glass, broken palettes and discarded metal pipes were strewn about the area in a haphazard manner; all waiting to be repurposed as makeshift weaponry. Jimmy Jacobs stood front and center, with Tyler Black, Delirious, Lacey and Mandy Leon on either side of him. JIMMY JACOBS It feels apt that today's theme is togetherness. Affiliation, alliance, amity, camaraderie, collaboration. As a team, as a metaphorical well-oiled machine, we know what it takes to work as a cohesive unit. After all, with the ECW Tag Team Championships now at stake in the much more immediate future, teamwork is key now more than ever. TYLER BLACK Teamwork is a demanding art to master. Very few in this business truly have an authentic ability to co-exist with others and share in their success. No jealousy nor distrust plaguing the professional relationship. Last week? You saw us work together perfectly to tear apart the Road Warriors. JIMMY JACOBS And for that, we feel no remorse. No regret. No contrition. His head began to tilt ever-so-slightly to one side, but his focus stayed glued onto the camera in front of him. JIMMY JACOBS It's a little contradictory, isn't it? We claim that our primary aim is to bulldoze our way through the competition in order to outlast the competition and claim those ECW Tag Team Championships. And yet, we all found ourselves overcome with an unquenchable urge to simply hurt others. That was our primary goal in the end, contrary to what we had claimed previously. I suppose it's possible to simply find oneself lost in the moment; overcome with a thirst to simply wreak havoc. But that is the advantage of having perfected the skill of adaptability. TYLER BLACK You decide on a goal but if it feels unattainable in the moment, you can shift focus to something far more tangible and that is why we’re chose to take matters into our own hands back at the last Anarchy event. Now, we’re back to our overall goal of capturing the ECW Tag Team Championships and making history in the process. He paused; a faint smirk dancing onto his lips. Yet, the intensity remained in his eyes, the fire burning and whilst only metaphorical, it appeared as though it was also visible. TYLER BLACK We symbolise a fierce determination to rise from the ruins, embody the spirit of resilience and tenacity and embrace the inevitable chaos that awaits us. We will soon become the ghosts that haunt your every move, lurking in the darkness to strike at a moment's notice. But yet, we'll prove to you how it feels to be alive. But at the same time, that doesn't mean that we perceive you to be any major threat. JIMMY JACOBS Exactly... exactly... and that leads us perfectly onto our next team. Ah, the Road Warriors. The Road Warriors are a team that we have history with. Albeit not long history but certainly recent and relevant. I'll admit, it's creditable that you've already withstood an onslaught from myself and Tyler. You showed your resiliency and we commend that. We truly do. Yet, I'm not concerned about having to do it all over again. TYLER BLACK In fact, we embrace it. An opportunity to allow lightning to strike twice is ideal. I just hope the Road Warriors have learnt from the harsh reality of the situation of having to face us once more and used it as a learning opportunity. He paused there, turning his head slightly but keeping his gaze firmly ahead of himself. TYLER BLACK But then... then you have a much more complex team in the form of the Old School Heroes. They appear to have more layers to them. Much more to unpack. JIMMY JACOBS We're not suggesting that they are our biggest threats in this more but nor are we saying otherwise... His shoulders rolled into a light shrug. JIMMY JACOBS You know, I admire your resolve. The tenacity and spirit that brought you to the position that you are both in within your careers... admirable, to say the least. It's not often that you'll hear us speak so highly regarding the opposition... strong and seemingly unassailable opposition, at that. I suppose you could say that we've grown as individuals to the point where we're now even able to show the more respectful side of ourselves. But fear not, it's not to a fault. We're still the relentless sons of bitches you've always known. After all, we won't hesitate to sacrifice you with no remorse along with the other teams that we'll share that ring with. You may be strategists of the game, masters of the ring and come with all of the pre-loaded knowledge of the business as one can possibly contain but that still doesn't make you greater than yours truly. Jimmy leaned back, shadows being cast on his features. JIMMY JACOBS There have been many critical moments in my life... in my career... and yet, it seems as though there's been none more so than this. Whilst not strictly true, it feels as though we have been building towards this for a significant period of time. Frankly, we don't feel as though we truly reached our peak as a team, all those years ago. There's been a nagging sense of fragmentary; as if there's been something left incomplete. Let's call it unfinished business. TYLER BLACK We are aware that we can no longer boast an undefeated streak from a technical standpoint, but nor have we been beaten. We took ourselves out of our last battle and forced the draw. That was entirely our own doing so don't let those records fool you. We have control of our destinies and we decide how that all ends. JIMMY JACOBS We don’t care if you’ve all forged your paths as legends, icons or even Hall of Fame status teams. We are once again the outsiders… the anomaly… the odd team out. Once again, I find myself bordering on having to defend ourselves when it comes to mainstream success. He spoke with conviction; his voice laced with an unsettling undertone. His steely glare was cold and calculating; his eyes, a deep and dark abyss of something darker. JIMMY JACOBS The clock is ticking and time is not on your side. You are all playing with fire when it comes to the mere idea of stepping into the ring with the likes of us. Again, these are not empty threats. They are very real, very legitimate and very realistic. TYLER BLACK You will all go back down to the bottom of the ladder and attempt to climb it once more but even if you do reach the pinnacle... even if by some miracle, you're able to reach the top? Well, you'll just be knocked straight back down again. We will shatter those dreams. In fact, not even shatter them but destroy them entirely to the point where you won't even recognise them any more. They will be beaten and bloodied beyond all possible identification. His voice softened yet the darkness remained. TYLER BLACK It may sound extreme... but is that not what we are here for? If you cannot handle that level of intensity and aggression, then perhaps this is not the place for you. Any of you. JIMMY JACOBS You are all hopeless... you just don't see it yet and instead, that false hope is feeding you lie upon lie that you keep falling for. TYLER BLACK This is a twisted tale of retribution for a team that never truly reached the ascendancy they know they deserve. You are all standing in the way but no longer. At Anarchy, we end this petty rivalry and it can and will end in only one way... with the Age of the Fall having reaching the pinnacle of tag team wrestling. Placing her hands on her hips, she stood tall, finally in the spotlight. MANDY LEON We're not just any regular fighters. We're warriors with an unbreakable bond and we'll continue to use that to our advantage. We showed our unity at the last Anarchy event and if you thought that was aggressive, well, that was just the start. We want to make it known to you that in the event that we feel it's needed, Delirious, Lacey and I will be there to even the odds a little. Lacey, whilst hesitant, nodded in firm agreement with Mandy. LACEY Spoken like a true team player. Together, the Age of the Fall are beginning their rise to the top and in doing so, will capture the top prize within the tag team division. That will set the entire team on the right path towards success and then, it's only owards and upwards for the rest of us. Mandy, showing visible signs of pride in Lacey being able to put any negative personal feelings aside with a slight smile on her ruby red lips, turned back to the camera. There's nothing wrong with having doubts; it's natural. But so is giving the benefit of the doubt and in this case, it's needed.

Pausing there at a rather abrupt pace, Jimmy turned to Lacey with a sincere glance. As a leader, his natural charisma allowed others to tend to admire him and believe his words to be wise, at least to some extent. However, that also meant that pressure on Jimmy himself to maintain that respect that others tended to have for him.

JIMMY JACOBS
You know I've got your back, Lace. I always have; and now is no different. Together, we've always been this strong, unbeatable entity but we can only continue to be if every single part is in full working order. I've used the phrase 'well-oiled machine' and that precisely how it should be. Every cog working in harmony with the others...

Lacey had always admired Jimmy's wise words; his wisdom is what kept her grounded a lot of the time. A simple nod of the head displayed her agreement with his words, or at least, her willingness to embrace his advice.

LACEY
I apologise for the hostility but this is just how I feel. It's difficult to explain but I suppose it could be the nostalgia talking. In my mind, she simply doesn't fit in... not at this point, at least.

Whilst Lacey had eased up, there appeared to still be something that didn't sit well with Tyler, as his thoughtful expression deepened.

TYLER BLACK
Think about our journey, Lace. Jimmy took both of us in when we were nothing more than newcomers with dreams. Without that opportunity to learn and grow from one of the best... where would either of us be now, huh? We owe everything to the teachings of the Age of the Fall. This is what forged us from nothing to the greatness we feel now. We adapted to the harsh reality of this business and became proficient in this sport because we had that heart and dedication to do so. Now look at us.

Lacey pondered over that rather considered monologue from Tyler.

LACEY
And it is incredibly valued. The time Jimmy took in assisting the two of us, among others, to grow is something I treasure more than practically anything in this world.

She stated with sincerity but there was still something nagging at her.

LACEY
I suppose that's why I'm striving for perfection now. We're no longer in a position where we should be held down by anybody. Our previous longevity as a team should speak for itself and we should no longer require the weaker. It's a different time now and we've evolved.

Before Lacey can finish her train of thought, a light knock is heard on the large wooden door, sat across the room from the trio. Before any further words could be uttered, the door creaked open, at least enough for a human-size figure to pass through the open gap. Emerging from the darkness and into the room was Mandy Leon herself; dressed in her typical black attire, albeit it more casual than usual. Behind her, Delirious pushed his way into the room after driving an elbow into the door to open it slightly wider.

MANDY LEON
Hey... sorry to interrupt but is now a good time to talk business?

JIMMY JACOBS
It's always a valid time, Mandy.

DELIRIOUS

A smile began to crawl it's way onto Jimmy's lips as he slowly nodded and motioned for the two to sit. He, by his own admission, always had a soft spot for Delirious. Whilst others may not have the patience, he certainly did.

JIMMY JACOBS
So... dare I ask what's on your mind?

Whilst Delirious remained stood, his vertical base becoming somewhat hunched, Mandy positioned herself on the edge of the table, leaning her arms behind herself slightly to prop herself up.

MANDY LEON
First of all, apologies for missing our training session this morning. But I promise, we'll make the next one. Second... well, I know how important growth is for anybody in this sport, particularly someone who is still considered somewhat of a rookie.

DELIRIOUS

JIMMY JACOBS
No need to defend her, Delirious, we don't have a problem here. We just appreciate you wanting to take the time to continue learning. You're right, it's incredibly important. But there's no major rush. Admitedly, with the focus just on myself and Tyler at this point, there's time for you continue to grow and evolve into the magnificent talent we all know you can be.

Mandy felt comforted by those words and offered him a sincere smile.

MANDY LEON
I just know I can be better...

LACEY
I wish you were...

MANDY LEON
Excuse me?

She questioned, dropping her usual kind-hearted facade in order to take a more defensive stance. Lacey, however, pushed herself up to her feet and as the light tapping of her feet rang out throughout the relatively small room, she proceeded towards Mandy who, in turn, rose to her feet.

LACEY
You heard me. You're damn right you should be pulling your weight more.

MANDY LEON
How so? I've been just as active as you have in not only holding the team together but ensuring the world sees our dominance. I know this style is somewhat more new to me but -

Mandy's voice trailed off into complete silence as Jimmy positioned himself between the two, raising a hand to halt them.

JIMMY JACOBS
How is this supposed to help? We can't present ourselves to the world as a fractured team. To show that weakness is unacceptable at this point, particularly when we know just how far we can go if we are able to co-exist. There's strength in comradery. So stop this...

He stated bluntly, opting not to elaborate on that. However, Mandy, seemingly with an understanding of Lacey's doubt, raised her hands.

MANDY LEON
No... she has a point. And this is our authentic selves, Jimmy. You, of all people, should know how no family is perfect. No matter what the dynamic, there are always some issues festering away. It's best we address them now...

She adjusts her posture and directs her gaze to meet Lacey's.

MANDY LEON
So bring it on. I'm not afraid to hear some harsh truths...

Her strong resolve was admirable and even Lacey seemed to think so as her body language suggested she was backing off slightly.

LACEY
Just do better... that's all I can say to you. We don't have the time for any dead weight dragging us down.

MANDY LEON
If that's how you see me, fine. All I'm asking for is an opportunity. I feel like Anarchy was an incredible start for me and it's only onwards and upwards from here. I'm optimistic in my abilities; I need you to be as well.

Lacey opted not to respond straight away, crossing her arms over her chest as she pondered her next words carefully. Her body language shifted somewhat as she backed off but remained dubious.

LACEY
Fine... but as Jimmy said, this is a unit where every single member of it needs to pull their weight.

TYLER BLACK
That includes everybody, by the way, it's not limited just to Mandy...

Lacey, again acting like a petulant child, mocked him as he spoke but Jimmy shot her a deathstare, which seemed to stop her there.

JIMMY JACOBS
Now if we can just all act like adults, things will all go a lot more smoothly moving forward...

With tension still palpable in the air, the group dispersed. It appeared as though enough had been said at this point that they could simply go their own way. They would reconvene when necessary but perhaps, for now, it was wise to go away and consider exactly what this meant for the team going forward...

At this point of the day, the sun was beginning to set. As it did so, it cast shadows across the dilapidated structure of an abandoned warehouse, which stood prominently in the background. There was an eerie stillness that seemed to envelope the air surrounding the building, which loomed on the outskirts of whichever city it was that the Age of the Fall were occupying today. The weathered exterior was cloaked in shadows produced by a combination of the setting sun and streetlights, which were starting to flicker on to do their job in illuminating the night.

The once somewhat more exquisite façade was now an image of peeling paint, crumbling bricks and rusted metal framework. Scattered around what was now the former parking lot, there was an array of various items. In the minds of the Age of the Fall and perhaps others that lived the nature of ECW may perceive them all as potential weaponry. Splintered wood, jagged shards of glass, broken palettes and discarded metal pipes were strewn about the area in a haphazard manner; all waiting to be repurposed as makeshift weaponry. Jimmy Jacobs stood front and center, with Tyler Black, Delirious, Lacey and Mandy Leon on either side of him.

JIMMY JACOBS
It feels apt that today's theme is togetherness. Affiliation, alliance, amity, camaraderie, collaboration. As a team, as a metaphorical well-oiled machine, we know what it takes to work as a cohesive unit. After all, with the ECW Tag Team Championships now at stake in the much more immediate future, teamwork is key now more than ever.

TYLER BLACK
Teamwork is a demanding art to master. Very few in this business truly have an authentic ability to co-exist with others and share in their success. No jealousy nor distrust plaguing the professional relationship. Last week? You saw us work together perfectly to tear apart the Road Warriors.

JIMMY JACOBS
And for that, we feel no remorse. No regret. No contrition.

His head began to tilt ever-so-slightly to one side, but his focus stayed glued onto the camera in front of him.

JIMMY JACOBS
It's a little contradictory, isn't it? We claim that our primary aim is to bulldoze our way through the competition in order to outlast the competition and claim those ECW Tag Team Championships. And yet, we all found ourselves overcome with an unquenchable urge to simply hurt others. That was our primary goal in the end, contrary to what we had claimed previously. I suppose it's possible to simply find oneself lost in the moment; overcome with a thirst to simply wreak havoc. But that is the advantage of having perfected the skill of adaptability.

TYLER BLACK
You decide on a goal but if it feels unattainable in the moment, you can shift focus to something far more tangible and that is why we’re chose to take matters into our own hands back at the last Anarchy event. Now, we’re back to our overall goal of capturing the ECW Tag Team Championships and making history in the process.

He paused; a faint smirk dancing onto his lips. Yet, the intensity remained in his eyes, the fire burning and whilst only metaphorical, it appeared as though it was also visible.

TYLER BLACK
We symbolise a fierce determination to rise from the ruins, embody the spirit of resilience and tenacity and embrace the inevitable chaos that awaits us. We will soon become the ghosts that haunt your every move, lurking in the darkness to strike at a moment's notice. But yet, we'll prove to you how it feels to be alive. To be alive is to feel pain and suffering...

As his voice trailed lightly into silence, Lacey shuffled forward ever so slightly, so she was right beside Tyler.

LACEY
... and this is precisely what awaits you in a matter of days.

TYLER BLACK
And that goes for each and every team who will dare to step foot into the ring with us. The Undisputed Era... a team so used to simply being handed things on a silver platter and yet, surprisingly capable of fitting into this world. This world that demands aggression, violence and a thirst for bloodshed... you're somehow making it work instead of the stereotypical squeaky clean style we thought you possessed. But at the same time, that doesn't mean that we perceive you to be any major threat.

Gibberish words then began to echo throughout the scene, the entirely black mask of Delirious refracting some of the light.

JIMMY JACOBS
Exactly... exactly... and that leads us perfectly onto our next team. Ah, the Road Warriors. The Road Warriors are a team that we have history with. Albeit not long history but certainly recent and relevant. I'll admit, it's creditable that you've already withstood an onslaught from myself and Tyler. You showed your resiliency and we commend that. We truly do. Yet, I'm not concerned about having to do it all over again.

TYLER BLACK
In fact, we embrace it. An opportunity to allow lightning to strike twice is ideal. I just hope the Road Warriors have learnt from the harsh reality of the situation of having to face us once more and used it as a learning opportunity.

He paused there, turning his head slightly but keeping his gaze firmly ahead of himself.

TYLER BLACK
But then... then you have a much more complex team in the form of the Old School Heroes. They appear to have more layers to them. Much more to unpack.

JIMMY JACOBS
We're not suggesting that they are our biggest threats in this more but nor are we saying otherwise...

His shoulders rolled into a light shrug.

JIMMY JACOBS
You know, I admire your resolve. The tenacity and spirit that brought you to the position that you are both in within your careers... admirable, to say the least. It's not often that you'll hear us speak so highly regarding the opposition... strong and seemingly unassailable opposition, at that. I suppose you could say that we've grown as individuals to the point where we're now even able to show the more respectful side of ourselves. But fear not, it's not to a fault. We're still the relentless sons of bitches you've always known. After all, we won't hesitate to sacrifice you with no remorse along with the other teams that we'll share that ring with. You may be strategists of the game, masters of the ring and come with all of the pre-loaded knowledge of the business as one can possibly contain but that still doesn't make you greater than yours truly.

Jimmy leaned back, shadows being cast on his features.

JIMMY JACOBS
There have been many critical moments in my life... in my career... and yet, it seems as though there's been none more so than this. Whilst not strictly true, it feels as though we have been building towards this for a significant period of time. Frankly, we don't feel as though we truly reached our peak as a team, all those years ago. There's been a nagging sense of fragmentary; as if there's been something left incomplete. Let's call it unfinished business.

TYLER BLACK
We are aware that we can no longer boast an undefeated streak from a technical standpoint, but nor have we been beaten. We took ourselves out of our last battle and forced the draw. That was entirely our own doing so don't let those records fool you. We have control of our destinies and we decide how that all ends.

JIMMY JACOBS
We don’t care if you’ve all forged your paths as legends, icons or even Hall of Fame status teams. We are once again the outsiders… the anomaly… the odd team out. Once again, I find myself bordering on having to defend ourselves when it comes to mainstream success.

He spoke with conviction; his voice laced with an unsettling undertone. His steely glare was cold and calculating; his eyes, a deep and dark abyss of something darker.

JIMMY JACOBS
The clock is ticking and time is not on your side. You are all playing with fire when it comes to the mere idea of stepping into the ring with the likes of us. Again, these are not empty threats. They are very real, very legitimate and very realistic.

TYLER BLACK
You will all go back down to the bottom of the ladder and attempt to climb it once more but even if you do reach the pinnacle... even if by some miracle, you're able to reach the top? Well, you'll just be knocked straight back down again. We will shatter those dreams. In fact, not even shatter them but destroy them entirely to the point where you won't even recognise them any more. They will be beaten and bloodied beyond all possible identification.

His voice softened yet the darkness remained.

TYLER BLACK
It may sound extreme... but is that not what we are here for? If you cannot handle that level of intensity and aggression, then perhaps this is not the place for you. Any of you.

JIMMY JACOBS
You are all hopeless... you just don't see it yet and instead, that false hope is feeding you lie upon lie that you keep falling for.

TYLER BLACK
This is a twisted tale of retribution for a team that never truly reached the ascendancy they know they deserve. You are all standing in the way but no longer. At Anarchy, we end this petty rivalry and it can and will end in only one way... with the Age of the Fall having reaching the pinnacle of tag team wrestling.

As the camera zoomed out slightly, Mandy Leon, once again dressed head-to-toe in skin-tight black studded leather, stepped forward. Placing her hands on her hips, she stood tall, finally in the spotlight.

MANDY LEON
We're not just any regular fighters. We're warriors with an unbreakable bond and we'll continue to use that to our advantage. We showed our unity at the last Anarchy event and if you thought that was aggressive, well, that was just the start. We want to make it known to you that in the event that we feel it's needed, Delirious, Lacey and I will be there to even the odds a little.

Lacey, whilst hesitant, nodded in firm agreement with Mandy.

LACEY
Spoken like a true team player. Together, the Age of the Fall are beginning their rise to the top and in doing so, will capture the top prize within the tag team division. That will set the entire team on the right path towards success and then, it's only owards and upwards for the rest of us.

Mandy, showing visible signs of pride in Lacey being able to put any negative personal feelings aside with a slight smile on her ruby red lips, turned back to the camera.

MANDY LEON
Never and I mean never rule out the Age of the Fall. It will be to your detriment in the end.

Tyler Black, stepping forward once more, crossed his arms over his chest.

TYLER BLACK
We are not just shadows on your periphery but we are the looming threats that are ready to strike. Since day one, our methods have been described as unorthodox and we use that to thrive in the world that wasn't built for people like us. We find a way. We always find a way and now is no different.

Upon finishing that sentence, his eyes locked onto the lens of the camera but it was Jimmy who spoke up next.

JIMMY JACOBS
Underestimating us will be a grave error and one that will cost you all dearly. See us as the major threats that we are. We are the powerhouses of the tag team division and holding those ECW Tag Team Championships will cement that. We don't need to go out of our way to provide you with a reason to fear us; those reasons should already be comprehensible enough. And frankly, if we have to spell it out for you all, then we've got some problems to address, don't we? Surely, you've been able to see for yourselves the new brand of violence that we not only bring but have thus far successfully implemented.

With one more intense and lingering gaze into the camera, he leans forward slightly while his head falls slightly to one side.

JIMMY JACOBS
That's the way the story has been written thus far and so it shall continue.

As the camera slowly zoomed out from the scene to show the group standing in a cohesive and strong formation, darkness descended upon them to fade to black.
